San Jose, Calif., October 15, 2015 – Today Kerio Technologies announced the appointment of Mirek Kren to the position of Chief Executive Officer. Kren, a 12 year Kerio veteran, will lead Kerio’s global management team and will be responsible for the company’s overall business strategy and operations.

Kerio, the leading provider of Cloud and on-premise unified communications and security solutions for small to mid-sized businesses (SMBs), split its Samepage Cloud collaboration business into a standalone division earlier this year. Kerio’s previous CEO, Scott Schreiman, becomes Executive Chairman.

Prior to the appointment, as Chief Operating Officer and General Manager, Kren led the day to day management of the company’s operations, reorganizing the Kerio division to focus on the development of Kerio Connect, Control, Operator and a recently launched MyKerio Cloud service.
