Kerio Control, the ESXi-est firewall on the planet
One of the unique things about Kerio Control is that since it is a software firewall, it can be deployed in a virtual environment, which is something I can't do with appliance based firewalls. But the coolest part is now that it is available in OVF format, it is now easier than ever to import into my existing Vmware environment. It isn't necessary to download anything, just copy the URL and paste it into the vSphere client.
Currently I have Kerio Connect and Kerio Control in separate VMs running on my ESXi server. I like that I have console access through the vSphere client to those virtual machines, especially if I manage to lock myself out with a policy rule. I also like the snapshot feature, in case I need to roll back to a previous configuration. My favorite feature though is all the status information I get out of ESXi, regarding the CPU, Memory, and Disk usage of each virtual machine. And with my firewall on a fast system, VPN access and web browsing is blazing.
