Kerio Workspace answers 10,000-user milestone with new groundbreaking beta

Where should I start? It's already over 10,000 users strong, and for those of you who thought Kerio Workspace 1.0 was cool, wait until you see what's in the new beta of this file-sharing collaboration powerhouse.

Duplicating Pages
Good news. In this new beta, I'm now duplicating entire pages with a single click. Naturally, this might increase the rate at which new pages are created, so I know what you space-savers and file library addicts might be thinking: "I'll be out of hard drive space in no time!" Fear not. I can choose to only duplicate the page layout skeleton if I like. But even if I decide to completely duplicate the entire page with all of its file libraries, videos, and images, Kerio Workspace is smart enough to fully recreate the page without duplicating my files on the server. Nice!

Sharing and Groups
Many of you weren't happy with having to select users one at a time when sharing a page, especially when sharing it with a large group. We hear you. With the new beta, I can now select an entire group with one click and bam - they all have instant access to my page. Sharing has gotten smarter too. The new beta makes it much easier for me to manage sharing rights for a specific page or inherit them from the parent space.

Drag and Drop Files into a Page
One of my personal favorites - now I upload multiple files from my computer to Kerio Workspace simply by dragging and dropping them onto my page. If files with the same name are already there, I get to confirm that I'd like to upload a new version, and I can still access the previous version at any time just by looking at the history of the document.

New Smartphone Interface
The new mobile interface for iPhone is nothing short of beautiful. Built on the Sencha Touch framework, the mobile interface lets me navigate through spaces with more native controls, display pages with full color and layout,
switch between page columns using a carousel control, do a full text search, and display my News Feed.

Admins Rejoice!
Yeah, the development team has been busy. The new beta offers Content Admin Mode, allowing admins to see all spaces and pages, regardless of sharing rights. Admins can also now install it as a VMware Virtual Appliance, enforce using HTTPS, and migrate a local user database to an Active Directory or Open Directory service with ease.

Get on over to the betas page and download the new beta 4. Then come on back here and tell me what you think!
