The software collaboration tool gives teams the ability to share documents, text, and multimedia content in a secure online location
SAN JOSE, Calif., August 24, 2011 - Kerio Technologies today announced that 10,000 users have adopted Kerio Workspace, the company's collaboration, online file sharing and social Intranet product. Fully managed through a web browser, Kerio Workspace's simple design allows users to easily create and organize pages for sharing documents, text, multimedia content and more.
Kerio Workspace eliminates the need to send cumbersome email attachments to solicit feedback and instead opens up the opportunity for collaboration through an intuitive online interface where all members of a department or team have the ability to provide feedback and approval. The product has finally solved the "Are you reviewing the correct version" question that has dogged the business world for the past 20 years. In fact, Kerio Workspace gives individuals and teams the ability to author and edit virtually any document within the web browser.
More than 260 organizations, representing over 10,000 users, have adopted Kerio Workspace since the product was introduced five months ago and have immediately taken advantage of its simplicity. It is currently available in 16 languages and has been deployed in in 35 countries.
"After experimenting with other collaboration products on the market, we developed Kerio Workspace with simplicity in mind," said Dusan Vitek, vice president of marketing, Kerio Technologies. "We made it a priority to build the product on a social-networking foundation that people are familiar with. No one should ever have to read a manual, or attend a training workshop to begin using this collaboration tool."
Because teamwork thrives on effective communication, Kerio Workspace provides News Feeds, which empower each contributor to notify their colleagues about updates, edits and feedback for any project. News Feeds gives Kerio Workspace a social-networking fabric and is available via email alert or on the user's "wall."
