Kerio Technologies Named a 2011 Tech Innovator by UBM Channel’s CRN
Kerio was honored in the VoIP category for Kerio Operator 1.1
San Jose, Calif., October 6, 2011 - Kerio Technologies, Inc. announced today it has received a 2011 Tech Innovator award from CRN in the Networking VoIP category for Kerio Operator 1.1. CRN's 9th annual Tech Innovator listing celebrates vendors that have introduced new products or solutions to drive advances in the technology channel. Companies on this exclusive list recently implemented innovative methods to bridge the gap between current problems and solutions facing channel executives today.
Kerio Operator 1.1 is an IP PBX phone system for small and medium businesses. It is designed to simplify voice communication while offering advanced phone features typically utilized by larger organizations. The simple and secure solution empowers IT VARs to capture significant revenue opportunities by shifting management of their clients' phone systems away from the expensive phone technician, into their own services portfolio.
"As a company that relies on deep relationships with the channel to bring our products to customers, we are especially proud that Kerio Operator 1.1 is being recognized by CRN," said Scott Schreiman, CEO, Kerio Technologies. "It is the right time for voice services to be delivered through the IT VAR channel, and we look forward to helping our partners do just that."
"In today's challenging business environment, it's more important than ever to discover, nurture and reward new ideas," said Kelley Damore, Vice President, Editorial Director for UBM Channel. "This year's Tech Innovator Awards recognizes technology companies that have used original methods or technologies to deliver cutting-edge products and partner support. We congratulate this year's winners on their success, and applaud them for breaking away from traditional thinking to create completely new and unique channel opportunities."
