Kerio Technologies one of 16 vendors spotlighted at Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference
WWDC - SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Kerio Technologies Inc., a leading provider of Internet security software and messaging solutions, today announces its participation in Apple's exclusive Apple Data Center, where leading Mac developers can showcase products and technologies to Worldwide Developer Conference attendees. In addition, Kerio also announces that current and future versions of Kerio MailServer will support Apple's Mac OS X Tiger. Kerio's collaboration suite provides secure email, shared calendars and contacts, making it one of the most comprehensive groupware packages available on the Mac.
The Apple Data Center will feature just 16 vendors selected by Apple to show the best of what the Mac platform has to offer. Other companies include Oracle, Sybase, MySQL, EMC and IBM. Each of the participating vendors will have a workstation in the Data Center where they will be showcasing their solution. This is the only area of the conference that features product demonstrations.
"Being selected by Apple to participate in WWDC's Apple Data Center is a great compliment to Kerio and our developers who take their commitment to the Mac platform very seriously," said Dusan Vitek, vice president of Marketing at Kerio Technologies, Inc. "This commitment is evidenced by the fact that Kerio MailServer already supports Mac OS X Tiger. Support of Apple's next generation technology will extend Kerio MailServer's core strengths - ease of use, extensive groupware options and client support on both Mac and Windows. There's a strong emphasis on security in Mac OS X Tiger that will allow Kerio MailServer customers to experience the most secure and stable mail server environment."
Kerio MailServer gives small to medium sized enterprises a practical alternative to Microsoft Exchange, available for all three major platforms - Windows, Macintosh and Linux. Kerio MailServer can be purchased globally through Kerio's network of more than 200 resellers.
Kerio Technologies will also be featured at the "Enterprise Messaging Solutions" session at WWDC. At this session, developers will learn how Mac clients can operate within a Domino, Exchange or GroupWise environment. Additionally, they will become familiar with "Enterprise Class" solutions from third party organizations such as Kerio that support both Mac and heterogeneous environments utilizing Xserve and Mac OS X Server. Customer case studies from Kerio and other vendors will also be presented.
This track will be held at the Moscone Center, San Francisco in The Mission conference room on Friday, June 10 at 9 a.m. Full conference access is required for attendance.
